Xator Corporation acquires CMX Technologies

DESTIN, FL. (October 1, 2014) – Xator, a Florida-based integrated national security, intelligence and information technology company, today announced the acquisition of CMX Technologies, a rapidly growing provider of systems engineering, analytics, communications and network engineering to the intelligence and homeland security markets. The acquisition will bolster Xator’s position in these markets. CMX is based out of Reston, Virginia.

David Scott, President and co-founder of Xator, said, “The complimentary services provided by CMX and Xator significantly expand our ability to offer a full range of engineering, integration and analytics solutions to meet the needs of our national security customers. CMX Technologies announces today it was awarded a contract with the U.S. Navy in support of the SeaPort-Enhanced program (SeaPort-E). This program consists of electronic procurement of Engineering, Technical and Programmatic support services at NAVSEA a reality. The Navy Virtual SYSCOM (VS) Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR) have decided to leverage the successes and efficiencies of the SeaPort-e business model by designating SeaPort-e the vehicle of choice for future Engineering, Financial, and Program Management contractor support services. This decision emphasizes the Navy Virtual SYSCOM’s focus on implementing cost-effective and integrated business practices to better support our Navy.
